McCain Seems Undecided About AIG Issue

Sep 18, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Financial Scandals, Political

When the government announced that it would bail out Insurance company AIG by offering it an $85 billion loan despite the ongoing crisis, John McCain, the republican bid for president seemed to be against it, with the statement, “we cannot have the taxpayers bail out AIG or anybody else”

However, it seems that he is singing a different tune when he was interviewed by ABC the following day. Here is what he had to say in the interview,” I didn’t want to do that. And I don’t think anybody I know wanted to do that. But there are literally millions of people whose retirement, whose investment, whose insurance were at risk here. They were going to have their lives destroyed because of the greed and excess and corruption”

Why the sudden change? What does he really think? Is McCain really informed of the issues?

Obama Targets the Religious

Sep 18, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized

Obama must be worried the McCain might get the support of the religious sector. His campaign is getting ready to launch a line of faith merchandise

The merchandise will include bumper stickers, buttons and signs. They will say things like “Believers for Barack,” “Pro-Family Pro-Obama,” and “Catholics for Obama.” The merchandise is set to target all backgrounds of faith.

It has been noticed that the Catholic vote has usually been the person elected as President. This trend was noticed in 1976 and the only exemption was with Al Gore’s 2000 bid. It’s no wonder why both parties are desperate for the support of the believers.
