The people behind McCain and Palin seem very reluctant to allow reporters to cover the VP candidate’s meetings with some foreign dignitaries. The meetings are scheduled for this week!

The foreign dignitaries are in New York at the UN office.

John McCain’s camp scheduled the meetings for Sarah so that she can get some experience with regards to foreign affairs. Palin had admitted to never meeting any foreign head of state before. She also never traveled outside North America until last year.

The meetings were not supposed to be covered but reporters protested. Now, reporters will be present for Palin’s meeting with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe.
