While there’s an upside to being president, there’s certainly a downside to it too!

The President elect Barack Obama has to surrender his personal Blackberry. Why? Because he has to comply with the Presidential Correspondence acts that states that all communication with the President has to be recorded. Another reason is that there are always concerns about email security (Remember what happened to Palin?)

The President’s personal correspondence will then be available for public review in the future.

I guess losing your privacy is definitely one of the huge downsides to being President!

With the positive turn of the elections for him, it is to be expected that Obama is super happy with his aides and all those who helped him out during the elections! Many reports are saying that Obama’s aides and helpers are set to recieve a nice bonus for all the work they’ve done.

They are going to get an extra month’s worth salary! Staffers were also given the option of keeping the Blackberrys and computers that they were assigned to during the campaign. The only catch is that they have to pay the income taxes on these items themselves.

Many staffers are expressing thanks  especially in these tough economic times!

After his amazing win on last week’s elections, it seems that everybody wants a piece of President-elect Barack Obama!

The two books that he’s written have sold millions of copies within the week and have made it into the best seller lists.

The Audacity of Hope and Dreams from My Father are currently number 1 and 2 at Amazon.com. There is also a high demand for a third book of his speeches entitles Change We Can Believe In.

Books about him and his life are also reported to be doing very well!
