Soon to be former first lady, Laura Bush, will soon be an author. She is in talks with many different publishers who are currently bidding for the rights to publish her memoir.

Laura Bush is said to be planning to write about her family’s time in the White House.

A literary agent has said that Mrs. Bush’s book was a good way to test the waters. He also said that Laura was much more popular than her husband at the moment. Publishers are said to be waiting for 5 years or so to publish George W. Bush’s memoir as he is so unpopular during this time.

Books by wives of presidents have been documented to sell well and attract more public interest, as they usually write from a personal perspective, and do not focus on the government.

Obama’s election as President is the stuff history and movies are made of! HBO seems to think so as they’ve recently signed a seven-figure deal for rights to make an Obama documentary.

Edward Norton is set to produce the piece. His company approached Obama’s people back in 2006 about creating the documentary. There were already directors who filed Obama all throughout his campaign and right up until he won the elections.

The documentary is planned to air in 2009.

Sarah Palin has responded against the allegations thrown at her. The last story that was written here was about McCain’s aides saying not so nice things about her.

In an interview with CNN, Palin was asked on her opinion on these people spreading the stories. She replied that she found it unfair and rude of these people to spread stories that were untrue and taken out of context! She even called them jerks!

Palin further goes on to explain that she does in fact know that Africa is a continent, and she does know which countries belong to the National Free Trade Agreement.
