The case regarding Sarah Palin’s email hacker is just about to be closed. The authorities have confirmed that it really was David Kernell, a son of a Democratic State representative.
Kernell has already turned himself in. e was charged with breaking into Palin’s personal email account. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Kernell was released without posting bond. He is currently only allowed to use the computer for Internet purposes, and in order for him to be able to check email and keep up with class work. He is not allowed to own a computer.
Mayor Danny Funderburk of South Carolina was found out to have forwarded a chain e-mail claiming that Obama is the antichrist!
The email was from his word email address and he has said to have forwarded it in the search for any scripture to validate the claim!
He goes on to say that his intent was to never let people believe the chain email but he was just curious about current events and how they are connected to the bible.
The email is continuously making the rounds in the US.
The hunt for Sarah Palin’s hacker is looking to be a relatively simple and easy case. This coming from the standards of major cybersecurity detectives.
The hacker who claimed responsibility has been very cooperative with the FBI that they’ve even been surprised! The FBI recently searched the house of a democratic lawmaker’s son in Tennessee. They were looking for evidence to link the guy to the hacking.
The suspect, David Kernell has not returned phone calls and emails from the investigative team since. The suspect’s family also denied any knowledge of the hacking.
