MTV, the music channel will try something new this year. They are going to throw a big big inaugural ball for president elect, Barack Obama.

The plans are for the party to be held on January 20 next year at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington DC. They plan to invite several celebrities and government officials as well. Normal individuals who showed excellent effort in their volunteerism are going to be invited as well.

Many other organizations besides MTV are also expected to hold their own inaugural balls.

It’s official! Obama has managed to triumph over John McCain! He is now the United States’ President Elect!

The results came quickly, and were uncontested! John McCain immediately made a very gracious phone call to Barack Obama congratulating him for his victory.

Later, a huge crowd, maybe 100,000 to 200,000 people gathered in Grant Park to watch Obama make his first official speech as President Elect! It was a somber speech at times, focusing on the problems the country currently has, but there was much hope touched on too.

Congratulations Barack Obama!

We’re not saying this to be politialy incorrect! There is in fact an organization that is called Rednecks for Obama!

Althoug most people would think that most rednecks would be in support of McCain and Pali, these rednecks are trying to make us think otherwise. They are self proclaimed rednecks too- they’ve described themselves as “hardworking guys who like to hunt, fish, and maybe pop a beer or two.”

They have also travelled to events like the national democratic convention! These people are trying to convince fellow rednecks that Obama is not a bad guy and deserves their support!
