First Obama had plans of showing up on SNL, and then Sarah Palin finally went ahead and did it! Well, John McCain doesn’t want to be left behind! He did his fir share of Saturday Night Live and showed up for last week’s show.

He appeared in a skit with Tina Fey, who of course played McCain’s infamous running mate, Sarah Palin! In the skit, he tries to sell election products and at the same time campaign for himself!
His wife Cindy even makes an appearance!

It’s great to see McCain and his wife have such a great sense of humor. They were funny and had great comedic timing!

Reality TV show The Hills does its share of politics too!

Recently, two of MTV’s hit show’s main cast and antagonists were spotted sporting election shirts.

Heidi Montag was spotted in a pink tank top that said, “Read my Lipstick, Vote McCain-Palin. Her boyfriend Spencer Pratt was spotted on the same day with a Palin for VP shirt with “God, Guns and Glory” emblazed in front. He was also carrying a gun, and a six-pack of beer, supposedly redneck style.

The two are one of the few Hollywood personalities who are in support of the Republican party. Many Hollywood stars have been outspokenly democratic.

Here’s what went down when John McCain finally showed up for David Letterman’s show! A lot of people have been waiting for this because David Letterman seemed clearly upset when John McCain canceled on him on that first time. John McCain went to an interview with Katie Couric instead!

First, Letterman jokingly asked, “Canyou stay?”. McCain was also quoted  as saying that he screwed up! McCain really made it a priority to show up and be in the show! He even flew in by helicopter from Philly to New York City.

Hopefully, McCain’s effort have made it up to David Letterman and the latter isn’t upset anymore!
