It is election time and fund raising is in full swing.

Out of 250 people raising funds for Hillary Clinton, 49 have been guests at the White House and have stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom when Bill Clinton was the President. The Bedroom is part of the famous suite on the second floor of the White House and used for the most special guests of the President.Almost one out of five HillRaisers has ties with the 1990s fundraising scandal. Besides Monica Lewinsky this was another scandal which tarnished the image of Bill Clinton. Each of the HillRaisers has agreed to contribute sums varying from $100,000 to $1 million or even more. Her opponents say that the Clintons had simply opened up the White House to friends. Washington socialite Beth Dozoretz who has handsomely contributed to the Clintons ever since says that the Clintons just wanted this unique experience shared by everyone. They were being nice to friends and donations now are not at all a quid pro quo.Perceptions vary in identifying political scandals.
