Updates of the weekly political scandals
The Westboro Baptist Chruch plans to picket the funeral of Madelyn Payne Dunham, Obama’s grandmother. Unfortunately, Madelyn did not get to see her grandson become president as she passed away a few days after the election.
The Church, which has an anti-gay and anti-abortion stand reasons that because Madelyn supposedly played a big influence in raising Barack Obama, she has much to answer to his stand on Same-sex marriage and Abortion. Because of this, they find it “right” and acceptable to picket her funeral.
Is this even the right thing to do? When do churches and groups cross the line? This sounds a little extremist, especially when the occasion alread holds so much grief and sadness.
We should all just learn to accept each other’s differences and not hate.
